Modern Queen Neffie - Nefertiti Queen of ancient egypt
 
This print pays homage to Neferneferuaten Nefertiti who was a queen of the 18th Dynasty of Ancient Egypt, the great royal wife of Pharaoh Akhenaten. 
 
She was renowned for her beauty and prominence and was called the 'one for whom the sun shines'.
 
Nefertiti and her husband were known for a religious revolution, in which they worshipped solely the sun disc, Aten, as the only god.
 
Nefertiti is best known for her painted sandstone bust, which was rediscovered in 1913 and became a global icon of feminine beauty and power. Considered the most stunning depiction of a woman from the ancient world, the bust seems the material embodiment of the queen’s name, which means - the beautiful one has come.
